How new jobs begin

Replace “Contact us” with “Start a project.”

Add a link, button, or embed to the site you already have. Clients send product details and confirm their email; your studio decides whether to create the job and invite them.

  1. Add it to your current site

Use a direct link, a "Start a project" button, or an embed.

  2. Receive a verified request

Product details and contact information arrive together.

  3. Convert it when you are ready

Create the job and invite the client only when it fits.

When the job comes another way

Not every job starts on your website.

Referrals, repeat clients, agency work, and phone calls can enter the same job without using the request form. Create it yourself, add the client and product details, and invite them when ready.

  • Referral

Add the client, choose a brief template, enter the product requirements, and invite them when you are ready.

  • Repeat client

Duplicate the previous project, keep useful context, and update the products, dates, references, or delivery requirements for the new job.

  • Agency or phone introduction

Create the project directly so the job does not depend on where the first conversation happened.

Website request or manual entry, the studio stays in control.

Watch a branded request become a studio-reviewed project, then follow the client through product details, proof review, approval, optional invoicing, and final delivery.

Request, studio review, shot list, client approval, and final files in one example job.

Plan the products and shots

Start with product details your team can use.

Capture the products, SKUs, required views, references, channels, filenames, and delivery specs before review begins. A product photo job is more than a folder of images: the team needs to know what was requested and which SKU each file belongs to. Reuse a template, import a spreadsheet, or enter the details directly.

  • Product and SKU identifiers
  • Required views and detail notes
  • Channel and output requirements
  • Reusable templates and spreadsheet import

Client review

Give the client one clear place to review and decide.

Client proof

Clients open one secure project link (the client portal) to see the brief, review each proof, leave a comment, request changes, or approve. The decision and version history stay with the job, and the client does not need a paid seat.

  • One secure project link
  • Feedback tied to the proof version
  • Explicit Request changes or Approve

Client comment

Could we get a tighter crop on the neckline?

The client can request changes or approve. Every decision stays with the job.

Final delivery

Deliver the final files with the job history intact.

Release the approved files from the same job, with filenames, notes, and delivery history attached. When the client returns, duplicate the project and update only what changed.

  • Approved proof versions
  • Final deliverables with naming context
  • Delivery manifest and project timeline
  • Project duplication for repeat work

How AI Brief Assist works

A focused fit for product photography studios.

Lenso is most useful when product details, client review, and final delivery need to stay connected across recurring commercial work.

A good fit when

  • Recurring product or ecommerce work
  • Several products, SKUs, views, or channel requirements
  • Clients review proofs and request changes
  • More than one person needs project context
  • Repeat jobs reuse earlier briefs or deliveries

Not designed for

  • A lead marketplace or booking directory
  • A generic CRM for every photography category
  • Capture, editing, or retouching software
  • An enterprise DAM
  • An autonomous production manager

Keep the specialist tools you already rely on.

Keep using Capture One, Photoshop, your storage provider, accounting system, or specialist proofing tools where they fit. Lenso connects the client-facing job around them.

Questions from studios

Do I need to rebuild my website?
No. Lenso hosts the request form. You can use a direct link, add a "Start a project" button, or embed the form on the site you already run. The client project is also hosted by Lenso.
What happens after a client submits a request?
The requester confirms their email. Your studio reviews the verified request and decides whether to convert it into a project. Nothing is booked or accepted automatically. When the job is a fit, you can create the project and invite the client.
Do clients need accounts or paid seats?
Clients do not need paid seats. They open a secure magic link for the project they were invited to. From there, they can review the brief, comment on proofs, request changes, approve, view an optional invoice, and download released files.
Can I add a referral or repeat client myself?
Yes. Create the project directly for a referral, agency introduction, phone call, or existing client. For repeat work, duplicate an earlier project and update what changed.
Can clients start a reorder on their own?
Not today. Repeat projects are started by the studio. Clients do not create a new job from the client project on their own.
Does Lenso replace Capture One, Photoshop, proofing, or accounting software?
Lenso is not a capture or editing application, and Stripe invoicing is optional. It can replace parts of the email, spreadsheet, shared-link, and approval handoff around a job. Keep the specialist tools that still serve your studio well.
Is Stripe required?
No. Product requirements, client review, approval, and final delivery work without Stripe. Connect Stripe only if you want to create invoices in Lenso and offer payment from the client project.
Is Lenso fully white-labeled?
No. Studio name and logo are included on paid plans. Team and Scale add an accent color and can remove "Powered by Lenso." The request form, client project, and transactional email remain Lenso-hosted today. Custom domains and studio-domain email are not available.
Do I need to migrate every old project?
No. Start with one real client job. Add the brief templates and product details needed for that work, then expand only when the process proves useful. Lenso does not require a full historical migration before you begin.
Does Lenso send studios new clients?
No. Lenso is software for the clients and opportunities your studio already has. It is not a marketplace, lead directory, or booking platform.
What does AI Brief Assist do?
AI Brief Assist suggests structured brief values from plain-language details. A person reviews and applies the suggestions. It does not accept work, approve files, or run the project on its own.
